Based on the life of one of Canada’s best-loved folk artists this films tells the story of arthritic artist Maud (Sally Hawkins) and grumpy recluse Everett (Ethan Hawke). An unlikely romance blossoms between them when Maud is employed as Everett’s housekeeper.
