Macrobert Arts Centre is committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring that any information that is provided is used lawfully and responsibly under the terms of the Data Protection Act (1998).

You can browse our website or make enquiries with our Box Office via telephone or in person without disclosing any personal information. However, if you book tickets or workshops, register for our mailing list or e-bulletins, or provide any personal data in any other form, we will only process your personal data in accordance with the relevant legislation.

The details which you provide about yourself and any information which identifies you such as your name, address, email address, telephone number, country of residence and credit and debit card information (“Personal Information”) will only be retained by us if you provide this information when booking tickets, making a donation or using one of our other services. Personal information will be held on our system and used for operational purposes such as the processing of bookings and for mailing list subscriptions.

The Personal information you supply when you join one of our e-mail lists will be used by Macrobert Arts Centre to keep you up-to-date with events and activities organised by Macrobert Arts Centre. When joining one of our e-mail lists you are given the opportunity to opt in to receiving information from other arts organisations e.g. visiting companes. The Macrobert Arts Centre will only pass on your personal information for marketing purposes if the relevant box has been ticked. Each email we send you offers you the opportunity to amend these preferences, or you can email info@macrobertartscentre.org. Macrobert Arts Centre respects your right of privacy. If you tell us that you do not wish to have your personal information used, we will respect your wishes. You have a right to apply for a copy of the information about you that we hold (for which we may charge a small fee) and to have any inaccuracies corrected by contacting us on info@macrobertartscentre.org.

If you do not wish to be contacted for marketing purposes, please e-mail us on info@macrobertartscentre.org, but remember that if you do so we will be unable to provide you with information about latest services, products etc. Please be aware that you able to opt-in again at any time.

Macrobert Arts Centre website uses cookies, by doing so this enables us to enhance our website performance, as well as helping verify your identity and personalising your experience for convenience, as well as making it possible for us to provide an online ticketing service.

If you contact us we reserve the right to keep a record of that correspondence and incorporate the information it contains into our database.
