Welcome Back

Macrobert Arts Centre has reopened its doors.

We’re delighted to welcome audiences back and we’ve been working hard behind the scenes to make sure your visit is a safe and enjoyable one.

Our cinema programme is indoors and in line with current Government Guidelines. Audiences (individuals or bubbles) are seated 2 metres apart. To view our screenings, please visit our What’s On listings. Our film programme is diverse, fun and vibrant and there is something to suit all ages and tastes.

Our Live performance programme is mainly outdoors over the summer months. To view what’s coming up, please visit our What’s On listings.

Pre-booking your tickets is recommended to select your preferred seat and to save time queuing. When you arrive don’t forget to bring your face mask (unless you are exempt). Our Front of House team will be on hand to make you feel welcome and comfortable.

Please do take time to watch our short video and read the FAQs below that will give guidance on what procedures and measures Macrobert Arts Centre has put in place to keep you and our staff safe.

If you have any questions that we have not answered below about your visit or any safety measures, please email: boxoffice@macrobertartscentre.org or call 01786 466666.

Booking

We encourage everyone to book their tickets in advance, either online or over the phone - 01786 466 666 - to minimise waiting times. In-person bookings are only available 15 minutes before the advertised start time of your film screening.

Our Box Office is open for phone bookings every day between 11am and 7pm. In-person bookings can only be made 15 minutes before the advertised start time of your film screening.

Although you can purchase tickets upon arrival, we would encourage everyone to book their tickets in advance, either online or over the phone, to minimise waiting times.

As per guidance issued by the Scottish Government on 6 May 2021, social distancing must be maintained between people who do not live together or share a bubble. We, therefore, ask that groups or individuals from different households book separately and in different seating banks to maintain social distancing. For indoor performances, audience bubbles will be seated 2 metres apart.

Tickets booked online or over the phone will be emailed to you to print at home or you can show them at the venue using your smartphone. If neither of these options is possible, you will still be able to collect your tickets from our box office 15 minutes before the advertised start time of your film screening.
