A joyful performance for people living with dementia and their loved ones to share.
This funny, entertaining and beautifully simple story comes to life through live music, movement and very few words. The audience is invited on a curious voyage of discovery by four performers loosely based on film characters for whom shoes play an important role: Fred Astaire in Funny Face Bette Davis in Now Voyager Charlie Chaplin in City Lights Vicky Page in The Red Shoes.
Magdalena Schamberger, former Artistic Director of Hearts and Minds, is a creative collaborator, director, teacher and theatre maker with a special interest in developing performances with and for people living with dementia, their loved ones and those who care for them.
Tickets to this event are free thanks to support from Our Connected Neighbourhoods.
Enjoy some live music between performances from Voice and Verse.
