Supporting more cultural activities around Stirling and across Scotland

Join our workshop with Macrobert Arts Centre and co-directors (Stella Duffy and Sarah-Jane Rawlings) and the Scotland Ambassador (Lewis Hou) from the Fun Palaces campaign for “Everyone an Artist, Everyone a Scientist”, undertaking a three-year action research project on Cultural Democracy.

Fun Palaces are free, local events exploring arts, sciences, heritage and sports created by, with and for communities. Fun Palaces showcases the wealth of local talent and invites everyone – children, young people, families and adults – to try something new, discover hidden talents, skills, and find new interests.

This workshop is for you if:

• You want to find out more about Fun Palaces
• You have never been involved in organising anything before but want to give it a try
• You're already involved in arts/science/culture in Stirling but interested in new collaborations, working  with more and/or different grassroot communities
• You have access to a cultural venue who might want people to use your space in new ways
• You've got an idea for an event and want to see how to make it happen
• You would like to meet other people/organisations doing creative work in Stirling across arts, science & other cultural work
• None of the above, but you are curious!
