Made In France

Thu 24 Nov 2016

Join us to celebrate the 24th French Film Festival (4 Nov - 7 Dec). Presented in partnership with the French Programme at the University of Stirling.

All Tickets: £5

This darkly atmospheric shock-thriller takes you on a white-knuckle ride inside a cell of homegrown extremists dedicated to bringing jihad to the streets of Paris. Sam is a Franco-Algerian journalist hoping to write a tell-all exposing the threat of domestic terrorism. Using his knowledge of Islam, he infiltrates a small cadre of extremists led by Hassan, a disgruntled shoe salesman whose chief leadership credential is having met “the principals” on his pilgrimage to Mecca. Hassan instructs everyone to “become invisible.” From the outside, it all appears frighteningly ordinary, except for Sam, who is now in the precarious position of a normal guy trying to look like an extremist trying to look normal.

We’re showing three films as part of our French Film Festival season – Come What May, A Journey Through French Cinema and Made in France. All tickets for these are £5.
*Multi-buy Discounts: Buy a ticket for two different films - £9 / Three different films - £12.
