It’s London during the Blitz and Catrin (Gemma Arterton) applies for a secretarial job. It turns out that’s she’s actually helping to write scripts for a team trying to make a patriotic film that will help convince America to join the War. Working with arrogant screenwriter Buckley and eccentric fading star Ambrose Hilliard, she’s tasked with making an inspiring film about the evacuation of Dunkirk.
