Creating an account

Each account that we hold for our customers must be registered to a unique email address, this helps us to keep our database nice and tidy and also allows for the offer system on tickets to work properly.

If you are unsure if you have an active online account with Macrobert Arts Centre and have booked tickets in the past please give the box office team a call and we can update your account with an email address.

You can check to see if your email address is registered with a record we hold by trying to create a new account, if we do hold your email address on our system you will receive an error message stating that an account already exists, if this does appear you can then follow the steps on how to reset your password.

If you have not booked tickets before and are wishing to book online you can create an account easily and it will only take you a few moments.

Resetting your password

If you have forgotten your password you can select the “forgot password” button which can be found right underneath the log in fields on the “my account” page, alternatively you can call the box office and we shall reset this for you.

Once you have provided us with an email, you will receive an automated email containing your new password. Please note these passwords are case sensitive and once you have gained access to your account please change this to something you will remember.

Card Holder Wallet

Card holder wallets allow you to store your card details so the next time you book tickets with us you don’t have to enter your payment details, making booking faster and easier. Similar to organisations like Amazon, this offers you the option of adding a preferred payment method or methods to your account. Of course this is optional and you can add, amend and delete cards at any time.

If you decide to set up a Card Holder Wallet the only payment details you’ll need for either online or phone bookings at macrobert arts centre is the 3 digit CV2 number (on the back of your card).

These details are not stored on our premises and card details are tokenised when instructed to charge your account for the amount of your transaction. This method of storing your card details is compliant with PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards). If you have any further questions regarding the security of your card details please contact the box office directly on 01786 466666

If there is a specific offer that is available to you for a performance/screening you can find this listed in “my account – my offers” as well as when you have logged into your account and have added tickets to your basket.

Our system will calculate the best offer(s) available to you and will always present the offer(s) that will make the biggest saving!

For some offer(s) to become available you must meet certain ticket criteria or hold a valid membership and the system will calculate this automatically at the checkout stage of your booking.

Please Note that all offers apply to standard rate tickets only!

Error (s)

If you have received the error message "Oops something didn't quite go as planned there..." don't worry, you haven't broken the internet, somethings just not gone quite how it should have and normally a quick reset of your browsing history can sort that right out.

Below are some instructions;

on your keyboard Select Ctrl + Shift + Delete (at the same time)

Select "from the beginning of time" from the drop down list

Select clear browsing history

Close the browser down

Re-open the browser and start again.

Text Size

If you find that the text is too small for you to read, you can change it to a size you're more comfortable with:

  • In Windows Internet Explorer, use the View > Text Size menu.
  • In Macintosh Internet Explorer and Netscape 6 and 7, use the View > Text Zoom menu.
  • In Opera, use the Zoom selector.
  • In Firefox and other Mozilla browsers, use the View > Increase Text Size option.
  • In Safari, use the View > Make Text Bigger option.
  • If you use a wheel-mouse, you may be able to change the text size by holding down the Control or Command key and turning the wheel. In some browsers you can change the text size using Control or Command and the + and - keys.
