My journey into the arts started at 7, joining North Lanarkshire Children’s Theatre, eventually becoming a Class Assistant before I started formal Dance training at Dundee & Angus College. After 2 years in Dundee, I moved to London to finish my studies at Laban in Dance Theatre.

Upon graduating I worked closely with Shaper/Caper Artistic Director, Thomas Small, initially as a Dancer and Tutor before becoming Learning and Development Manager of Smallpetitklein Dance Company. I’ve worked across Scotland and the UK with the likes of Urdang, Bodywork Dance Company, Dundee and Angus College, Visible Fictions, Scottish Ballet, YDance, Fife Cultural Trust, Aberdeen Performing Arts and V&A Dundee, developing a programme for adults in the lead up to and after opening.

I joined the Macrobert team in 2019, leading the Creative Activities team to deliver a programme of work we’re really proud of.
