NEW PEDESTRIAN AREA ON CAMPUS
The University of Stirling is currently working on one of the biggest infrastructure projects since their foundation, designed with input from the Student’s Union, staff and local stakeholders. The £21 million project will create a new three-storey building at the heart of campus and give students, staff and visitors a host of new study and social spaces to take advantage of.
Part of this includes the creation of a pedestrian zone in the Queen’s Court area, which means that as of Monday 8 October Queens Court (the large roundabout at the front of Macrobert Arts Centre) will be closed to all through traffic (buses, cars etc.) - buses will be re-routed to a new and improved transport hub.
If you are a Blue Badge Holder you will still be able to access the disabled parking spaces at the front of Macrobert Arts Centre, but can only drive in from the East Link Road (most easily accessed from the Hillfoots Road entrance to the University of Stirling Campus).
