We recognise that black voices in the arts are vital, and that many still face a struggle for their voices to be heard.
Since the tragic death of George Floyd on 25 May and the outpouring of cries for change from across the world, we have been reviewing our core organisational values and how these inform the conversations and experiences we programme. It is clear there is more to do and we are committed to taking the time to listen, question and discuss what more can be done to play our part in making a global change.
Our promise is to champion black artists, filmmakers and voices from all backgrounds. Only through a diversity of voices can we create an arts sector that is representative and open to all.
