Our annual Christmas exhibition of arts and crafts is back for a fourth year. Enjoy browsing through a selection of different works by Scottish-based artists or pick up a Christmas gift (or two) and perhaps even something for yourself! We've also got a drop-in Christmas Craft Fayre (Sun 18 Nov 12pm-5pm) where you can browse through some unique arts and crafts created by Scottish-based artists.
Part of the University of Stirling Campus Central plans includes the creation of a pedestrian zone in the Queen’s Court area, which means that as of Monday 8 October Queens Court (the large roundabout at the front of Macrobert Arts Centre) will be closed to all through traffic (buses, cars etc.) - buses will be re-routed to a new and improved transport hub.
If you are a Blue Badge Holder you will still be able to access the disabled parking spaces at the front of Macrobert Arts Centre, but can only drive in from the East Link Road (most easily accessed from the Hillfoots Road entrance to the University of Stirling Campus).
Christmas should be a magical time for everyone. Our Christmas Appeal helps local children, young people, families and older members of our community throughout the Forth Valley area, to make some magical memories at this year's Panto, Sleepin' Cutie.
This month, we took some young reviewers to Dundee Rep to see what they thought of The Yellow on the Broom. The verdict is in - find out more about what Ciaran and Caitlin thought of the show before it arrives at Macrobert Arts Centre on Wed 26 Sep!
Following on from a successful 3 week pilot project in February we will once again be partnering with Stand Easy Productions to deliver drama workshops for Armed Forces Veterans.

Get involved in our first Conversation Photo Competition, running alongside this season's Conversation Starter - The Yellow on the Broom. Submit a photo of something that matters to you and a short description explaining why. It can be a copy of a treasured photo or a picture of something or somewhere you value. We’ll select a number of our favourites to be exhibited in our venue and on our social media channels!
We're looking to start Baby Cinema Screenings here at Macrobert Arts Centre! The aim of these screenings is to give parents the opportunity to get out and socialise without the worry of their children, well, being children! These screenings are for parents or guardians and their baby (12 months and under), so there's no need to worry about disturbing others during the film. Our first Baby Cinema Screening will take place on Wed 8 Aug. Come along, watch a film and stay for an informal chat afterwards, to tell us how we can make Baby Cinema work for you.
