We're committed to the Living Wage

We're delighted to announce that we have been accredited as a Living Wage employer by the Scottish Living Wage Accreditation Initiative. This Living Wage commitment ensures that both direct employees and third-party contracted staff employed by the Arts Centre receive a minimum hourly wage of £8.45.

Touching Show Exploring The Little World Of Babies

A special new show for babies comes to Macrobert Arts Centre this week. MamaBabaMe is a captivating new collaboration between Scotland's National Arts and Early Years organisation Starcatchers, and award-winning dance theatre company Curious Seed. The show is designed especially for babies aged 18 months to three-year-olds.

Dance Show Studies The World of Surveillance

This Spring Rosie Kay brings stunning dance, MK ULTRA, to our venue on Thu 18 May. Rosie Kay is one of the UK’s leading female choreographers and is renowned for her athletic movement, rigorous research and intelligent theatricality. Kay choreographed the hit feature film Sunshine on Leith and is best known for the five star and award-winning 5 SOLDIERS brought to Stirling in May 2016.

Call Out For Young Artists

We're looking for young artists who'd like to share a drawing or painting as part of our Arthouse exhibition this summer - Sharing Stories: Epic Art Challenge (Sat 8 Jul to Thu 17 Aug). If you like to read and love draw then submit a picture of your favourite character(s) from a storybook! The only limits we’re setting is the size (no bigger than A3) and it must be two dimensional.

We're holding auditions on Sun 14 of May 2017 for young people to join the Young Cast for this year’s panto extravaganza, Chick Whittington. It's a fantastic opportunity to work with a highly skilled creative team who will prepare you for going on stage with a professional company. Rehearsals and performances require a high level of commitment, but you will be amazed at what you will gain from the experience.
